Good foods promote healthy processes in the body and support the critical building blocks that keep our internal engine running smooth. Bad foods lead to our engine becoming clogged, over-stressed, and old before it's time.

Diet Coke. Diet pepsi. Crystal Lite. Any drink that tastes sweet but proclaims to be "sugar free".
All these have some form of artificial sweetener that is intended to replace the sweetness of sugar with some chemically manufactured substitute.

Why? Because sugar makes you fat and is not good for you. Or at least that's the marketing behind the push to include sweeteners such as Splenda, NutraSweet, and Equal in everything from sodas and fruit juices to candy and children's vitamins.
All the flavor and none of the calories.
Well, despite the happy, thin people seen guzzling diet sodas in television commercials, print ads, and Internet popups, there is some real scientific concern that those artificial sweeteners may not be healthy at all, and even might make you gain weight.
